The global plastics & rubber & Paper and Articles trade (export + import) has reduced to USD 2042.95 billion in 2020 decrease of 5.55% compared to 2019 which was USD 2162.92 billion. The plastics & rubber & Paper and Articles trade represented 5.87% of the total global trade.

Dubai plastics & rubber & Paper and Articles trade (export + import) have decreased to USD 8.69 billion in 2020, a decrease of 5.96% compared to USD 9.24 billion in 2019. Dubai plastics & rubber & Paper and Articles trade represented 0.43% of the total global plastics & rubber & Paper and Articles trade.

Dubai plastics & rubber & Paper and Articles exports were AED 9.03 billion in 2020 which accounts for 5.4% of Dubai export. 

The top exported products were: Ethylene polymers; in primary forms, polyethylene having a specific gravity (HS Code: 390120), Printed matter (HS Code: 491199) and Propylene, other olefin polymers (HS Code: 390210).

The top export destinations were: China, Sultanate of Oman, Saudi Arabia, India, Egypt and Iran.                                            

Dubai plastics & rubber & Paper and Articles imports were AED 22.85 billion in 2020 which accounted for 3.33% of the total Dubai imports.
